With strict manufacturing tolerances, these files are uniform in taper, points, sharp edges, dimensions and flatness. Made of the finest heat-tempered steel. Half-Round Ring files have a width and thickness that taper to a point. They are narrower than regular half-round and, therefore useful for filing inside of rings.
